i love this time of the year.
fall is coming, and that is a great thing.
because we all know what that means...

so i feel kind of crappy. but i guess i put it on myself for having a dinner consisting of two penis cookies and spliting half a bottle of southern comfort with mae at steph's staggette (Sp?). i missed tim's party for the stagette and i feel kind of bad about my absence there. i walk in the door and mae is like, "you're totally splitting this bottle with me,i was afraid you weren't going to show up" because i got there (as usual) late. but that was the only way i was going to go to a strip club, with an unnecessary amount of alcohol in me (note to self: don't think it's OKAY to drink on an empty stomach and that you'll be fine the next day, today is proof that you cannot). the party was alright, even though-- well, no specifics on that. drunken confessions are the best kind, and i found that i love mae even more than i did. we were the only two not drinking beer at the "pre-game" at steph's apartment, so when mae got the last king i was a good sport and drank the other half of the cup with her.

in other news, us girls are going to toronto in a couple days. two, to be exact. now that we are all 19. chicago is coming up soon. i'm supposed to go to see ben folds with the boy but who knows. i don't feel like calling him up and i don't feel like going to see him. i feel a little indifferent lately, not myself. but i guess i haven't felt myself in a long time. no angst here though.

and with that i'll say that i look forward to the day where the first thing i think of is something different than what it has been.
